Commercial Real Estate Audit Senior

We are seeking an experienced audit professional to join our team in a commercial real estate auditing role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US GAAP and US GAAS, with excellent analytical and organizational skills.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with engagement teams and contribute to high-impact audits in a rapidly evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and assist with audits, reviews, and compilations for clients in various industries under US GAAP and US GAAS.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and evaluate internal controls.
  • Assist with coordination of day-to-day duties, including planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up.
  • Develop a deep understanding of accounting and reporting standards generally accepted in United States.
  • Able to perform US GAAP & US GAAS research independently.
  • Develop reasonable time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet time constraints and client deadlines.
  • Mentor, train, and supervise lighter-level staff.
  • Contribute to strong client relationships through positive interactions with client personnel.
Requirements
  • CPA (or in process) or CA with 3-5 years of experience within a public accounting firm or US auditing CPA firm.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including responsiveness to US offices.
  • Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities are required.
  • Industry exposure: Commercial Real Estate.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work well independently but also work well with others.
  • Approaches projects with a sense of urgency.
  • Outstanding analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Knowledge of Caseware, caseview, or IDEA is a plus.
