We are seeking a seasoned Data Governance professional to join our Cyber & Risk practice as Deputy Manager/Manager.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in leading and executing data governance engagements, ensuring compliance with global regulations, and embedding good-governance-by-design into client processes.

  • Lead and manage data governance projects across industries, ensuring alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and control evaluations.
  • Design, review, and enhance governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Implement and monitor controls, including data subject rights, consent management, and cross-border data transfer mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with IT, Legal, and Risk functions to ensure governance compliance in technology and business processes.
  • Drive awareness sessions and training programs on data governance and protection.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management and clients on risk, compliance gaps, and remediation strategies.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 4 to 10 years of relevant experience in data governance, information security, or compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of laws and regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with risk audits, assessments, and compliance programs.
  • Exposure to ISO frameworks.
  • Ability to manage client engagements, lead teams, and deliver projects within timelines.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Certifications
  • Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT)/Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP-E) or equivalent certifications.
