Job DescriptionWe are seeking a results-driven Sales Director to lead the Fintech Expansion team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of hyperlocal markets.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the sales teams, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate team members to maximize their potential and achieve individual and team targets
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies to enhance team productivity and efficiency
- Train, and manage a team of Field Onboarding Specialists across assigned cities.
- Motivate and guide the team to achieve onboarding and merchant activation targets.
- Operational Oversight: Monitor daily field activities, ensuring timely and efficient onboarding of merchants. Implement processes to streamline onboarding, reduce drop-offs, and improve merchant experience.
- Identify bottlenecks in the onboarding process and propose data-driven solutions.
- Market Knowledge: Stay updated on hyperlocal delivery trends and merchant needs within the assigned Region.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and plans to drive credit card sales growth and market penetration
- Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities
- Analyze sales data, market insights, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and improve performance
- Set ambitious sales targets and revenue goals for the tele-sales and field sales teams, and develop action plans to achieve them
- Monitor sales performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement corrective measures as needed to ensure targets are met or exceeded
- Drive cross-selling initiatives and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue generation and customer lifetime value
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction
- Ensure that the tele-sales and field sales teams deliver exceptional customer service and support, addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations promptly and effectively
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. MBA preferred
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably in the financial services industry with a focus on credit card sales
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
- Deep understanding of sales processes, techniques, and best practices
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to credit card sales
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on delivering tangible business outcomes
