Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Government Solutions team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue generation from key public sector accounts.

  1. Lead Revenue Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, establish relationships with key decision-makers, and negotiate deals to meet or exceed individual sales targets.
  2. Manage Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication, issue resolution, and timely delivery of solutions.
  3. Research New Market Opportunities: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, assess client needs, and develop targeted sales strategies.
  4. Cold Calling and Networking: Engage in cold calling, networking, and other methods to identify potential clients and establish relationships.
  5. Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of our products and value proposition to effectively communicate their benefits to clients.
  6. Proposal Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality proposals that meet client needs and requirements.
  7. Communication and Reporting: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and management, to ensure seamless project execution and timely reporting.
Requirements
  • Qualification: Master's degree in business administration or education or a related discipline.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in curriculum design and blended learning, MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Behavioral Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and diagnostic skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, multi-tasking ability, and superior time management skills.
