Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for supporting the Accounting department in producing accurate and timely financial statements by preparing and recording detailed AP, AR, and other general accounting transactions.

  • Prepare and record detailed AP and AR transactions.">
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation.">
  • Assist with tax filings.">
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.">

Accounts Payable Processing

">

The ideal candidate will have experience with advanced accounting platforms such as NetSuite and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Review and approve POs and invoices in Nexonia.">
  • Process weekly check runs for vendor payments.">
  • Initiate wire requests.">
  • Request and maintain W-9/W-8 information for vendors and record new vendor information into NetSuite.">
  • Create necessary AP accrual journal entries and monthly deferral entries.">

Audit Assistance

">

The selected candidate must be detail-oriented, flexible, and able to multitask, with a high level of organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Prepare AP and other Accounting documents requested for audit.">
  • Work directly with auditor for any questions.">
  • Perform walkthrough of Accounting tasks as requested by auditors.">
