Mortgage Pre-Closing Specialist Job Opportunity

The role of a Mortgage Pre-Closing Specialist is to review loan packages, create Initial and subsequent Closing Disclosures (CDs), and coordinate with Title and Settlement agents to ensure timely closing. This involves meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective communication to meet business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Reviewing and preparing disclosures, including Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  2. Requesting fees from settlement agents and performing fee analysis to optimize business outcomes.
  3. Preparing Preliminary closing disclosure and coordinating with stakeholders to facilitate smooth closings.
  4. Issuing initial closing disclosures/re-disclosures to clients and monitoring individual closing pipeline, workload, and volume levels for maximum balance and efficiency.
  5. Delivering final closing documents and ensuring proper communication with settlement agents to resolve any issues that may arise.
  6. Coordinating with Title/Escrow Agents to provide funding authorization and ensure disbursement takes place.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a high school diploma or its equivalent for US Operations and graduation degree for India Operations with 18 months of experience in preparing Initial and Final closing documents. Familiarity with commonly used mortgage concepts, practices, procedures, and Fannie Freddie guidelines is also essential. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are required to succeed in this position.
