We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to join our team in India. This role offers a unique opportunity to participate in an on-the-job training program with Krones Machinery India, where you will be professionally trained on our Krones machines in Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • IT Infrastructure Management: Define and manage the IT infrastructure, applications, hardware and network systems within the organization.
  • Compliance and Governance: Perform tasks and instructions given by the Managing Director of Krones Machinery India and align with Krones Group IT Guidelines & Policies.
Detailed Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and manage the annual IT Infrastructure CAPEX / OPEX budget.
  2. Operate, monitor, and develop SAP S4/HANA systems.
  3. Define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes for the subsidiary, in line with Krones Group guidelines.
  4. Roll-out Global IT initiatives, in alignment with the Global IT team.
  5. Manage purchasing, installation, and rollout processes in subsidiaries for IT hardware, in alignment with Global guidelines.
  6. Responsible for technical requirements for purchasing and service contracts for IT infrastructure, in alignment with the global IT team.
  7. Manage local IT infrastructure in the plant/subsidiary to ensure operational performance, availability, security, and continuity.
  8. Propose and coordinate the deployment and maintenance of IT Hardware and Network solutions.
  9. Monitor performance of IT infrastructure and networks, and make recommendations for improvements as required.
  10. Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to define IT infrastructure requirements.
  11. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT and act as IT support lead for the assigned organization.
  12. Adapt and integrate Krones Group IT guidelines and policies into the region.
  13. Serve as a liaison between the subsidiary business units and the group business units and technical IT teams.
  14. Responsible for local/regional technical operations of IT solutions.
  15. Act as a local IT Security Manager by completing system audits and assessments, building awareness around information technology security and protection, and implementing IT risk mitigation measures.
  16. Manage IT-related incidents, service requests, and changes. Provide guidance and support to IT Support specialists.
  17. Define and manage Disaster Recovery (DR) plans and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure management and IT hardware definition and refreshment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze business requirements and define IT infrastructure requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Proficiency in SAP S4/HANA systems and other relevant IT tools.
