Job Title: Virtual Legal Counsel

About the Role:

This role involves providing legal counsel to clients, drafting contracts and agreements, and supervising junior associates. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal principles and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Client Interaction and Briefing: Engage with clients to understand their requirements and gather detailed briefs for drafting contracts and agreements.
  • Drafting Supervision: Direct and guide junior associates in drafting various types of contracts and agreements based on client briefs.
  • Quality Control: Review and QC contracts drafted by junior associates for compliance, accuracy, and alignment with client requirements.
  • Training and Development: Train junior associates on effective drafting techniques, legal language, and industry best practices.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and refine internal workflows for drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contracts to improve turnaround time.
  • Legal Research: Conduct research on legal updates and industry trends to ensure compliance and provide added value to clients.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in law or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in contract drafting and review.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
