Production Team Member: Operations Excellence

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Team Member to join our production team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about operations excellence, eager to learn and take on new challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Efficiency: Maintain 5S standards on the shop floor, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Changeover and Cleaning: Take responsibility for equipment cleaning and process optimization, driving overall efficiency improvements.
  • Line Clearance: Ensure line clearance procedures are carried out as per established protocols.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Develop and implement SOPs related to production, guaranteeing strict adherence and quality control.
  • Yield Calculation and Reconciliation: Calculate and reconcile production yields, comparing input vs output data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Daily and Monthly Production Records: Maintain accurate records of daily production and monthly rejection data, analyzing trends and implementing corrective actions.
  • Operator Training: Provide training sessions for operators on good manufacturing practices, document management, safety, and workplace improvement.
  • Process Monitoring: Regularly monitor processes, identifying deviations and taking corrective action to ensure machines operate within validated parameters.
  • Non-Conforming Reports and Root Cause Analysis: Handle non-conforming reports, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Defective Material Complaint Handling: Manage defective material complaints effectively, investigating causes and implementing solutions.
  • Target Achievement: Collaborate with the production planning team to achieve weekly and monthly targets, optimizing production workflows and improving overall performance.
  • Qualification and Validation: Ensure timely completion of qualification and validation tasks, maintaining equipment efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Sample Preparation: Prepare samples according to customer requirements, meeting quality and regulatory standards.
  • Manpower Control: Exercise effective control over manpower, ensuring optimal shift strength and resource allocation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of operations management principles and best practices.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer literacy.
