Job Title: Admissions Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Admissions Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing student applications, reviewing documents, and providing exceptional customer service to students and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Admissions Data Management & Integrity:
    • Receive and review student applications and supporting documents on Salesforce
    • Evaluate academic credentials to determine admissibility to university programs and make decisions accordingly
    • Contact students for pending documents, check eligibility and validate documents, and upload and revise offers
    • Verify the authenticity of academic documents, English language proficiency, and letters of recommendation
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide administrative support to the admissions team and UEA Global team with pre-arrival registrations
    • Establish contact with students for timely arrival
    • Review and coordinate mailboxes and upload documentation daily
    • Respond to email inquiries from students and stakeholders
    • Participate in weekly staff meetings to discuss progress and share knowledge
  • Others:
    • Understand UK visa financial requirements to conduct financial checks before CAS issuance
    • Credibility interview applicants before and/or after receiving initial deposits in certain cases and markets
    • Verify bank details as required
    Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
    • Recent experience working in admissions and documentation
    • Experience working in a Higher Education environment
    • UK study experience
    • Familiarity with university student records systems, such as SITS or Salesforce
