Job Description

The Senior Engineering Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all engineering and maintenance operations within a facility. This includes managing the physical plant, including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical, and life safety systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and maintenance, with experience in supervising teams and managing budgets. They will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities are maintained to a high standard, while also ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the engineering department, including supervising staff and coordinating projects
  • Maintain accurate logs and records as required
  • Assist in effectively planning, scheduling, and evaluating preventative maintenance programs
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operation of the engineering department
  • Coordinate and manage capital expenditure projects
  • Monitor and control expenses to achieve budgeted goals
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in engineering or a related field
  • At least 4 years of experience in engineering and maintenance, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Technical knowledge of HVAC-R, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
