About the Role

Nodwin Gaming, a leading esports company, is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee global accounting operations. This high-impact role will lead a 68-member team handling end-to-end accounting for various entities across India, Singapore, and Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Payable Management: Ensure timely processing of vendor invoices and payments. Validate and reconcile vendor statements, resolving discrepancies as necessary. Prepare reports on accounts payable metrics and ensure provision for expenses at the end of each month.
  • Banking & Treasury: Manage daily banking operations, including cash flow monitoring and bank reconciliations. Support treasury functions, such as cash management and investment activities, and prepare cash forecasts to optimize liquidity.
  • Fixed Asset Management: Maintain accurate tracking of asset acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation. Coordinate periodic physical asset counts and reconcile with financial records. Prepare reports on fixed asset utilization and impairment assessments, ensuring accurate depreciation and amortization accounting.
  • Intercompany Accounting: Handle intercompany transactions, ensuring accurate and timely billing and settlement between entities. Assist in preparing intercompany reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies, supporting the consolidation process by ensuring proper accounting treatment of intercompany balances.
  • Team Monitoring and Training: Oversee and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance on best practices and procedures. Conduct training sessions to enhance team members' skills in accounting processes and software, monitoring team performance and providing constructive feedback to support professional development.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure TDS and GST compliance, including computation of liability, offset of input, and timely payment of dues. Identify GST credit not reflected in the portal against invoices received and follow up with vendors. Provide responses for TDS/GST notices as and when received, tracking for closure, and keep abreast of applicable regulatory developments to ensure due compliance.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles.
  • Professional qualification - CA/CPA.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle a team.
  • A hands-on, results-oriented mindset with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the role.
