Database Engineering Leadership

We are seeking an exceptional Database Engineer to lead our team and drive the future direction of our database platforms and architecture designs.

The ideal candidate has a deep passion for database technologies and a strong ability to influence strategy through collaboration with technical experts and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement overall database strategy in collaboration with technical experts and management.
  • Build and maintain relationships internally and externally to contribute to the strategic direction of the enterprise application programs.
  • Proven record of accomplishment in delivering strategies that result in positive business outcomes on behalf of the application portfolio.
  • Ability to perform as a technical lead by aligning application strategy to database strategy through creation of roadmaps in collaboration with application program leadership.

Requirements:

  • Strong ability to influence database engineering overall strategy through collaboration with technical experts and management.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally to contribute to the strategic direction of the enterprise application programs.
  • Proven record of accomplishment in delivering strategies that result in positive business outcomes on behalf of the application portfolio.

Candidates Must Possess:

  • Deep hands-on experience in architecting secured on-premise and cloud solutions through standardization, automation, optimization, availability, scalability with an eye on end-of-life needs.
  • Ability to lead efforts in understanding and implementing security-related risk and compliance initiatives.
  • Proficient in Postgres and ability to act as SME for Postgres. Additional experience with NoSQL technologies like MongoDB, Cassandra preferred.
