Key Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will have the ability to manage end-to-end credit approval processes for designated regions.

They will be responsible for underwriting cases and presenting them to senior-level decision-makers.

The successful candidate will also authorize deviations raised by underwriters, ensuring compliance with our credit policy.

In addition, they will finalize reviews of credit memos prepared by underwriters and sign off on approval or decline decisions after verifying documentation requirements.

Another key responsibility is to approve disbursement requests based on adherence to requirements and full documentation attainment at the branch level.

Monitoring and overseeing PDD management is crucial, ensuring timely completion of personal discussion documents through customer visits in high-value cases.

The chosen candidate will also oversee and initiate follow-ups with external vendors to ensure timely query resolution and report submission, eliminating any undue or non-process-related delays.

Coordinating with the recoveries team and generating business insights are essential responsibilities.

Leading a team of credit approvers to ensure portfolio quality and delinquencies is critical.

Engaging in development, implementation, review, and monitoring of various credit programs, providing training and coaching to continuously upgrade competency and improve processing efficiency, is a key aspect of this role.

Ensuring due diligence in credit analysis, customer application screening, evaluation, underwriting, and sanctioning of loans is vital.

Evolving underwriting norms customized to local market needs and ensuring continued enhancement and execution of consumer credit risk strategy are ongoing responsibilities.
