Job Role Summary

The Credit Professional will be responsible for analyzing financial data and assessing risk to ensure the company's credit portfolio remains secure.

  • Preparation of thorough credit appraisal notes for key corporate clients, incorporating detailed financial analysis and rigorous risk assessments.
  • Engagement with business stakeholders to negotiate terms and conditions for effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collection and review of customer information to prepare comprehensive credit reports and monitor accounts in accordance with agreed-upon terms.
  • Preparation of regular monitoring reports for the portfolio, highlighting non-compliances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Escalation of risk-related issues and development of action plans to address them effectively.
  • On-site visits to assess operational efficiency and submit inspection reports.
  • Management of risk assessment escalations and implementation of corrective measures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in credit underwriting for small and medium enterprises or large corporate entities.
  • Proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Preference given to candidates with experience in project finance and/or infrastructure sector credit analysis.
  • Professional certifications such as CA, MBA, or CFA are highly valued.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills are essential.
