Job Description

As a Senior Underground Cable Engineer, you will be responsible for leading design teams and developing transmission voltage design packages for underground projects. This includes manhole and equipment installation, conduit and duct bank design, feeder replacement, cable replacement, and new feeder design.

You will work closely with project teams to ensure deliverables are met and services are provided to client satisfaction. Additionally, you will perform QA/QC reviews of studies, reports, and construction design packages.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team of engineers and designers, managing multiple projects, deadlines, and deliverables in parallel, communicating with multiple teams and stakeholders, and prioritizing tasks effectively.

Key qualifications include a bachelor's degree in electrical, civil, or mechanical engineering, 3-10 years of experience, proven verbal and written communication skills, and strong knowledge of underground and overhead powerlines construction methods and distribution system equipment.

Familiarity with NESC code for electrical design and construction guidelines, as well as topographic mapping surveying, and subsurface utility engineering/utility locating procedures and practices is also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications
