Backend Developer Opportunity

 

The Role

This Backend Developer position is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer to handle databases, servers, systems engineering, and clients.

Depending on the project, our customers may require a mobile stack, a web stack, or a native application stack.

You will be responsible for:

  • Creating reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Developing new modules and features independently from start to finish.
  • Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of professional experience.

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Node.js, JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds.
  • Proficiency in at least one framework such as strongloop loopback, express.js, sail.js etc.
  • Knowledge of at least one front-end framework like Vue.js, Ember, React, or Backbone.
  • Understanding of modern-day web applications architecture.
  • Commitment to coding standards.
  • Experience with Git and version control workflows.
  • External integrations experience is beneficial.
  • Working knowledge of AWS, GCC, Azure.
  • Expertise in Linux-based systems.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with testing and automation frameworks.
  • Comprehensive understanding of RDBMS systems.
