About the Role:

Our client is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Test Engineer to lead the development of automated validation pipelines for their on-prem GPU cloud platform. This role requires 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems validation, or SRE roles with expertise in automation frameworks integration, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated pipelines using Sonobuoy, LitmusChaos, k6, and pytest for validation and certification of the entire stack.
  • Integrate testing into declarative, Git-backed pipelines using Argo CD, Flux, or similar tools.
  • Develop and maintain test frameworks using pytest and/or Go, focusing on cluster lifecycle events, upgrade paths, and GPU workloads.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, SRE, and platform teams to ensure quality assurance gates are embedded early in the deployment lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, systems validation, or SRE roles.
  • Primary key skills required are automation frameworks integration (Sonobuoy, LitmusChaos), CI integration, and scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes architecture, upgrade patterns, and operational risks.
  • Proficient in GitOps workflows and integrating tests into declarative pipelines.
