US Tax Professional

Clearhouse LLP is an accounting and tax firm based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. Our team provides assurance, tax, and consulting services to diverse clients including public, private, and non-profit organizations.
This role requires a full-time professional with expertise in US tax laws and regulations. You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality results.
The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing personal, corporate, and trust income tax returns. Additionally, you should be able to apply provisions of US tax treaties to cross-border transactions.
Core responsibilities include:
- Prepare personal, corporate, and trust income tax returns along with other tax elections.
- Apply provisions of US tax treaty to cross-border tax transactions.
- Assist with Sales tax filings and registrations.
- Collaborate with partners and senior staff to develop and implement effective strategies.
Preferred qualifications and skills include:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in preparing/and or reviewing 1040 personal income tax returns and 1120 corporate income tax returns.
- Public accounting experience (preferably in tax).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
