US Tax Leadership Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our US tax team. As an Associate Vice President of US Taxation, you will be responsible for managing a team of tax professionals, ensuring high-quality deliverables in tax compliance and advisory services.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the preparation and review of complex US tax returns for individuals and businesses, providing strategic US tax advisory services, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
As a seasoned executive, you will collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and client needs, implement best practices within the tax team, and drive process improvements to increase efficiency.
Additionally, you will identify opportunities for tax automation, mitigate tax risks, and review and approve tax filings to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely submission.
Requirements for this role include a minimum of 10 years of experience in US tax, with at least 5 years in a managerial role overseeing tax teams. Strong knowledge of US tax laws is essential, including IRS regulations and state tax laws.
A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required, and Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is preferred. Proficiency in tax software and MS Office is also necessary.
