Senior Lead Petrophysicist
Job Description- We are seeking a Senior Lead Petrophysicist to lead petrophysical evaluations across exploration, appraisal, and development wells.
- The successful candidate will ensure high-quality data acquisition and reservoir characterization through advanced log interpretation, core-log integration, and digital/AI techniques.
- This role involves stakeholder engagement and mentoring junior professionals to drive technical excellence.
- Design and oversee logging programs (LWD/Wireline), including tool selection, vendor coordination, and real-time monitoring.
- Conduct formation evaluation—porosity, saturation, lithology, and hydrocarbon volumes—and integrate results into subsurface models and documentation.
- Attend rig site operations while logging and coring activities to provide real-time decision support during drilling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver petrophysical insights and optimize data acquisition strategies.
- Master's degree or higher in Geophysics from a recognized university.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in Petrophysics domain within the oil & gas industry.
- Willing and able to travel offshore for rig site operations and field quality control.
- Proficient in industry-standard petrophysical software.
- In-depth knowledge of logging tools, acquisition systems, and core-log-seismic integration workflows.
- Skilled in advanced interpretation techniques.
