Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to lead the development and administration of our Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform. Our ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering successful projects.

The CMDB is a critical component of our IT service management ecosystem, providing real-time visibility into our IT assets, configurations, and relationships. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the CMDB, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our business.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain the CMDB within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure CMDB solutions meet business needs.
  • Implement and enforce CMDB data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Maintain CMDB documentation, including data models, workflows, and processes.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the CMDB development team.
  • Audit and perform data quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Integrate the CMDB with other IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and tools.
  • Stay updated with ServiceNow CMDB best practices and industry trends.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in CMDB development and administration within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Proven experience leading CMDB projects and teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Experience integrating CMDB with other ITSM processes and tools.
  • Strong understanding of database design, data modeling, and data governance principles.
