Senior Software Architect

We are seeking a seasoned software architect to lead the design and development of our scalable software solutions.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled technical leader to drive innovation, mentor junior developers, and ensure high-quality deliverables across all projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement large-scale distributed systems with expertise in full-stack development, front-end and back-end technologies, and microservices architecture.
  • Mentor and lead a team of software engineers, fostering collaboration and promoting professional growth through knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define technical requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Evaluate and enforce coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines to maintain the highest level of quality in all development activities.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure that all team members adhere to established standards.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues in a timely and effective manner, escalating concerns when necessary to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing projects.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, contribute to the overall technical strategy, and participate in the development of new features and enhancements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in software engineering principles, including design patterns and algorithms.
  • Proficiency in full-stack development, including front-end and back-end technologies, and experience with microservices architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities, with a proven track record of mentoring junior developers.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies is preferred but not required.
Preferred Technologies

We are open to working with various technologies, but familiarity with the following would be advantageous:

  • Java, Spring Boot, API, Microservice, Docker/Kubernetes, SQL, NOSQL DB.
  • Messaging systems: Kafka / RabbitMQ / SQS
Competencies

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
  • Experience building large-scale distributed systems, such as high-volume SaaS environments, ideally with a proven track record of scaling products.
