Job Title: Deputy Manager - Switchgear Testing

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing switchgear testing operations, ensuring compliance with international and national standards, and maintaining accreditation of our laboratory.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent knowledge of IS IEC standards, and experience in handling workforce, SAP, statistical tools, Six Sigma, 5S, and VEBehavioural Competencies include good communication skills, initiative, and self-driven ability to learn and implement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and assigning tests to technicians
  • Interpretation of various international and national standards and upgradation addition of test setups in line with amendments in standards
  • Creating test procedures, test reports, new test methods for non-standard tests and decision sheets
  • Maintaining accreditation of laboratory and continuously following the laboratory operating procedure as defined by IECE
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education: BE Diploma Engg Experience Range: 2 to 4 years Specialization: Electrical Electronics Critical Skills Required: Knowledge of LV Switchgear testing Creating test procedures, test reports, new test methods for non-standard tests and decision sheets Good knowledge on IS IEC standards and Switchgear Control gear products Experience in handling workforce SAP statistical tools Six Sigma 5S VE Behavioural Competencies Good communication skill Initiative self-driven to learn and implement Systematic and task oriented
