Product Engineer Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to bridge the gap between engineering and product teams, taking ownership of features from conception to launch.

As a Product Engineer, you will act as a key interface between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication throughout the entire feature lifecycle.

  • Deeply understand product vision, business logic, and end-user needs to bridge the gap between engineering and product requirements.
  • Design and implement end-to-end features, handling both technical and product-centric aspects while maintaining focus on user experience and business value.
  • Own feature testing, validation, and quality assurance to ensure robust product delivery.
  • Make architectural and technology choices aligned with product goals while ensuring best practices and code maintainability.
  • Translate business/product requirements for engineering teams and collaborate with backend developers, designers, PMs, and stakeholders.
  • Establish efficient team workflows and document systems/features for both engineering and product stakeholders.
  • Coordinate engineering activities and ensure seamless collaboration between technical and product teams.
  • Instill feedback-driven development and experimentation culture across product and engineering teams.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of software engineering experience with exposure to product management or project coordination.
  • Strong coding skills in both backend and frontend technologies (Node.js, Python, React, etc.).
  • Experience with API development, integration, and database management.
  • Product thinking with strong mindset for user experience and business value.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools (JIRA, Trello, Notion).
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and coordinate engineering workflows.
  • Understanding of testing frameworks, quality assurance processes, and feature validation.

  • Backend Technologies: Node.js, Python, microservices architecture.
  • Frontend Technologies: Flutter, Dart, mobile app development.
  • Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS/GCP, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Integration: Financial APIs, payment gateways, market data providers.
  • Tools: JIRA, Notion, Git, CI/CD pipelines.
