Production Merchandiser Role

The Production Merchandiser plays a critical role in the smooth coordination of garment production, quality control, and delivery.

This includes sourcing and selecting appropriate fabrics, trims, and accessories for product development.

  • Developing yearly and monthly production plans with timelines based on order requirements, capacity, and lead times.
  • Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery of fabric and trims.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in textile engineering, fashion merchandising, or a related field.

They should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational and time-management abilities, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

  • Maintaining detailed records of production activities, including orders, deliveries, and inspections.
  • Preparing regular reports on production status, costs, and quality.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing process enhancements, performance monitoring, and coordinating with teams to ensure operational excellence.
