Job Title: Packaging Engineer Trainer

We are seeking an experienced packaging engineer to deliver technical training programs. The trainer will be responsible for equipping professionals with the knowledge and skills required in packaging design, compliance, validation, and testing across regulated industries.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in packaging design and material science, as well as in-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance standards.

The primary responsibilities of this role include developing and delivering training modules on packaging design principles and material selection, training participants on packaging standards and regulatory expectations, providing hands-on guidance on packaging validation and stability testing, and conducting sessions on CAD-based packaging design and optimization of packaging configurations.

This position also involves educating trainees on transportation and distribution testing to ensure product integrity, labeling compliance, serialization, and traceability requirements across global markets, and guiding them on integration of packaging with quality systems and regulatory compliance.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver training modules on packaging design principles and material selection tailored to product safety and industry needs.
  • Train participants on packaging standards, regulatory expectations, and best practices in packaging compliance.
  • Provide hands-on guidance on packaging validation, stability testing, and lifecycle documentation.
  • Conduct sessions on CAD-based packaging design and optimization of packaging configurations.
  • Educate on transportation and distribution testing to ensure product integrity.
  • Train on labeling compliance, serialization, and traceability requirements across global markets.
  • Guide on integration of packaging with quality systems and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in packaging design and material science.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance standards.
  • Hands-on experience in packaging validation, stability testing, and transport/distribution testing.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools for packaging design and development.
  • Understanding of serialization, labeling regulations, and traceability systems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and training delivery skills.

Preferred Background:

  • 8+ years of experience as a packaging engineer in pharma, biotech, medical devices, or related multi-industries.
  • Prior training or mentoring experience in technical areas.
  • Strong industry network and awareness of emerging packaging technologies.
