Internal Audit Manager

About the Role:

As an Internal Audit Manager, you will be responsible for leading internal audit assignments and ensuring they are executed according to established methodologies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage internal audit teams to execute audits of listed entities, public, and private companies.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of client business and processes to identify key risk areas.
  • Implement best practices in internal auditing, adhering to applicable standards and guidelines.
  • Manage resources and audit assignments effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Compile and implement the annual Internal Audit plan, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Conduct ad-hoc investigations into identified or reported risks, providing timely and accurate findings.
  • Oversee risk-based audits covering operational and financial processes, ensuring complete and accurate reporting.
  • Supervise planned annual audits, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in internal auditing, preferably with a Chartered Accountancy certification.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify key risk areas and develop effective solutions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
