About the Role

As a Chief Design Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the overall design strategy. In this senior leadership role you will shape the design vision and execution across all touchpoints – this spans every aspect of the vertical. You will lead multidisciplinary teams to design products, interfaces, and services that make energy more accessible, intelligent, and sustainable for everyone.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design strategy for products and platforms, from dashboards to consumer touchpoints
  • Design smart, connected products
  • Integrate UX, Industrial Design, Service Design, and IoT into holistic product experiences
  • Champion the use of AI and automation
  • Collaborate with engineers, product leads, subject matter experts, and government stakeholders
  • Build inclusive solutions for diverse user groups
  • Define design standards, interaction models, and interface principles for digital-physical systems
  • Anticipate future shifts in the vertical landscape and proactively design for them

Qualifications

  • 15+ years in Product Design, UX, or Industrial Design
  • Proven ability to design IoT-powered products and services
  • Experience launching hardware-software solutions at scale
  • Visionary mindset, but comfortable working with today's constraints
  • Experience leading hybrid teams and managing senior stakeholders
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai
