Job Title

The Planning & Strategy Director will drive the development of innovative, client-centric strategies across social and digital platforms.

About the Role

This is a highly sought-after position that requires expertise in leveraging social media as a broadcast or narrowcast medium to design engaging experiences. The ideal candidate will continually improve strategy direction and recommend programs and tactics that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of category, competition, consumer, culture, and brand to derive unique, differentiated insights.
  • Develop integrated campaign strategies that serve as a springboard for creative teams.
  • Present visually compelling presentations with a clear point of view and narrative.
  • Analyze available insights to define overall strategy in terms of distribution and amplification.
  • Define advertising pressure to achieve goals, considering objectives, challenges, and limitations.
  • Participate in new business pitches as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A post-graduate degree with 7+ years of experience in brand planning, social/digital campaign management, and digital creative strategy.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect business requirements to strategy solutions.
  • Research and data analytical skills to generate data-based insights for the strategy process.
  • Passionate about fast-evolving social/digital media environments with a strong point of view to share.
  • Eye for innovation and emerging platforms or partners for brand, social/digital strategy results.
  • Ability to work effectively in an integrated team environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and people management skills.
