Job Title: Senior Staff Engineer

 

Job Description:

Our organization seeks a highly skilled Senior Staff Engineer to lead the development and execution of complex SoC/chip architectures. As part of this team, you will be responsible for designing multi-core, multi-threaded processor subsystems, AI accelerators, interconnects, memory architecture, and multi-level caches.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute SoC designs from definition through production.
  • Define project scope, goals, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with product marketing teams to develop SoC requirements and provide necessary design collateral.
  • Maintain the SoC architecture or technical specification to meet product requirements.
  • Develop and coordinate the design schedule, including milestones and resource requirements.
  • Represent the design community in weekly status meetings and attend cross-functional meetings.
  • Perform SoC design integration and maintain design collateral such as documentation, register libraries, and pinouts delivered to cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure adherence to established quality procedures and processes to achieve first tapeout.
  • Support validation and product test teams during silicon bringup, validation, characterization, and qualification.
  • Triage, track, and resolve issues reported during silicon evaluation.
