Job Title: Lead Architect

Description

The Senior Architect will lead projects from concept to completion, translating design intent into detailed, buildable solutions. This role demands a balance of design excellence, technical know-how, and the ability to mentor junior team members while coordinating with consultants, contractors, and clients.

  • Design & Concept Development: Drive concept design, schematic layouts, and design presentations. Ensure design aligns with company ethos, sustainability goals, and local building codes.
  • Project Management & Coordination: Prepare and oversee GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, detailed drawings, and tender documentation. Liaise with structural, MEP, landscape, and other consultants for timely, coordinated outputs.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and mentor junior architects, interns, and drafting staff. Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Client & Stakeholder Interface: Attend client meetings, present design proposals, and handle approvals. Coordinate with statutory authorities for permissions and compliance.
Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Indian building codes & bye-laws, NBC 2016, ECBC, fire norms.
  • Construction detailing, materials, and services integration.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask across multiple projects and deadlines.
