Job Description

Exusia is seeking a skilled Global Finance and Accounting Practice Analyst to join our team in Pune. This role involves optimizing finance and accounting verticals, working closely with the Head of Operations and senior leadership team to evaluate and execute key financial and strategic initiatives.



Key Responsibilities

  • Post and process journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Execute global payroll and process monthly payroll journal entries.
  • Update accounts payable and perform bank reconciliations.
  • Verify account balances and rectify discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements.
  • Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly company compliance tasks, including remittances.
  • Assist in monthly and yearly closings.
  • Track and report on key metrics to provide feedback on financial and operational efficacy.
  • Escalate sensitive matters and maintain a proactive approach.


Requirements

  • Proactive and self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Progressive experience and expertise in Core Accounting and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is a plus.
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, preferably with a background in core finance and accounting practice.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and innovative thinking capabilities.
  • Ability to distill critical information from complex data and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
  • Track record of success working independently in a dynamic environment, managing to tight deadlines.
  • Practical and results-oriented with excellent business acumen and an ownership mentality.
  • Flexible and adaptable to work in global time zones as work demands.
  • CA/CPA/ CMA/MBA Finance /Post-Graduate/Pursuing ICAI/Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) and demonstrated academic achievement.
