About the Role

The Global Finance Partner - Capital Allocation is a critical position within the Capital Allocation Team at Bekaert. As a key member of the team, this individual will support the development and implementation of financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist in quarterly reporting to BGE, providing insights into capital project status, peers benchmarking, and forecasting reliability.
  2. Highlight and explain variances, providing proactive insights on deviations and ensuring accurate forecasting.
  3. Monitor and analyze KPIs for active projects, ensuring proper execution and delivery in line with commitments.
  4. Build and maintain standardized templates and dashboards for valuation models, CAR templates, and other project evaluation assessments.
  5. Contribute to M&A transactions, including valuation and financial due diligence of targets.
  6. Assess project proposals, building business cases for stakeholders in coordination with BUs.
  7. Support strategic projects, such as footprint reviews and greenfield business cases.
  8. Audit projects to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong educational background in finance, preferably with a CA, CPA, or MBA. You should have hands-on experience with capital projects, including business cases, M&A transactions, payback calculations, and project audits. Additionally, you should have demonstrated track record of success and reporting excellence.

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Expertise in MS Office Excel, Excel power pivot, and PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Microsoft Power BI knowledge preferred.
  • Strong business understanding, analytical skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial results in a credible and professional manner.
