Job Title: Regulatory Operations Specialist

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Operations Specialist to conduct comprehensive product audits and compliance checks, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • The ideal candidate will monitor and implement daily regulatory compliance requirements, developing and maintaining robust internal control frameworks for banking products.
  • Key responsibilities include implementing and tracking regulatory circulars, with a specific focus on KYC-related guidelines, and preparing and submitting regulatory reports as per jurisdictional guidelines.
  • Additionally, the incumbent will review, validate, and reconcile data sources used for regulatory reporting, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • They will also conduct periodic reviews to ensure customer onboarding and lifecycle management processes align with regulatory standards.
  • Collaboration with internal teams including Finance, Risk, and Compliance is essential for gathering data and ensuring accuracy in reports.
  • Maintaining strong documentation and audit trails for all submissions is critical to this role.
  • Support in data submissions to compliance, internal audit teams, and regulators is also required.
  • Leveraging data analytics for insights ensures proficiency in data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
  • Assisting in the implementation of new regulatory reporting requirements and upgrades to reporting systems is also an important aspect of this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must have working experience in banks for KYC/AML onboarding and management of control tasks such as name screening, risk profile-based customer CDD/EDD, consequence management action, and process enhancement.
  • Reporting, analysis, and operations across processes ranging from individual customers to non-individual customers and retailer/distributor verticals.
  • Process improvement in regulatory reporting.
  • Inputs to business basis control team inputs.
