Job Title: Data Manager

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and governance of data assets across various business functions. Your primary goal will be to ensure that data is structured, accessible, and trusted to support operational excellence and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end data lifecycle, from acquisition and modelling to cataloguing and governance.
  • Develop and maintain complex data models that support operations and analytics.
  • Ensure metadata management and data catalogue tools are used effectively to facilitate discoverability and lineage tracking.
  • Deliver scalable and secure data products on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Apply foundational data transformation techniques using SQL and Python to prepare data for consumption.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Champion data quality, integrity, and compliance across systems and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in data management and governance across all stages of the data lifecycle.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience with complex data modelling techniques.
  • Proficiency in metadata management and data cataloguing tools.
  • Demonstrated delivery of data products within cloud ecosystems (AWS or Azure).
  • Strong SQL and Python skills for data manipulation and transformation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a pragmatic approach to value delivery and execution.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data excellence.
  • Solid business acumen and ability to align data initiatives with strategic objectives.

Domain Expertise (Mandatory):

  • Deep understanding of customer location profitability, pricing strategies, and its impact on commercial performance.
