Job Overview

We seek an Equity Research Analyst to drive investment decisions with comprehensive financial models and market analysis.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and update complex financial models incorporating scenario analysis to inform investment choices.
  • Valuation Methods: Employ DCF, relative, SOTP, and other valuation methods to provide accurate valuations.
  • Assumptions and Valuation: Create assumptions and valuation rationales to support informed decision-making.
  • Investment Ideas: Screen large datasets to identify promising investment opportunities and assist Portfolio Managers/CIOs in their investment strategies.
  • Investment Discussions: Engage in thorough discussions of investment ideas and stock updates with Portfolio Managers/CIOs.
  • Earnings Reviews: Prepare detailed earnings reviews, preview conference calls, and management meetings.
  • Pitch Notes/Presentations: Develop compelling pitch notes/presentations, industry insights, and thematic research.
  • Databases: Design and maintain databases to streamline research and analysis.
  • News Analysis: Gather and analyze news to inform investment decisions.
  • Ad Hoc Research: Conduct ad hoc research projects as required.
Key Competencies:
  • Financial Modeling and Research Report-Writing: Excellent skills in financial modeling and research report-writing/presentation making.
  • Client Relationship Management: Strong client relationship management skills and effective communication.
  • Numerical Abilities: Numerical abilities with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Writing Skills: Clear writing skills in a logical and structured manner that minimizes rework.
  • Macro/Industry Analysis: Ability to link macro/industry analysis to the output.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with technologies such as Python, SQL, Power BI, etc.
