Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • The candidate will be responsible for financial modelling, financial analysis, and forming an investment thesis on the sector the analyst is expected to work on.
  • The candidate will track down and analyse every industry/company data point available in the public domain.
  • The candidate will make presentations and present convincing ideas to the team.
  • The candidate will also be entrusted with administrative responsibilities shared by all members of the team.

Requirements:

  • A keen interest in capital markets.
  • The ability to fully understand businesses and sectors.
  • Strong skills in financial modelling, analysing income statements-balance sheet-cash flows and valuing companies.
  • Prior experience of building operating and financial models of companies and industries.
  • Knowledge of basic principles of equity valuation.
  • Exceptional skills in advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
  • An attention to detail is essential.
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience (sell-side or buy-side experience preferred).
