Job Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Credit Manager to lead the credit underwriting and monitoring of personal loan portfolios through digital journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Policy Framework:
  2. Develop and implement comprehensive credit underwriting policies based on diverse product constructs
  3. Collaborate with the Data Science team to analyze underwriting models, validate performance, and identify areas for improvement
  4. Determine performance benchmarks and take corrective action when necessary
  5. Automate credit policies to minimize manual intervention in assessing creditworthiness
  6. Establish pricing strategies based on segmentation
  7. Standardize policies and processes
  8. Monitor portfolio profitability and risk thresholds

Portfolio Analysis:

  1. Performance Review:
  2. Conduct thorough analysis and recommend policy changes to senior management based on outcomes
  3. Periodically review existing portfolios, conduct analysis to identify high-risk segments, and take corrective action
  4. Monitor delinquent accounts to ensure company standards are met
  5. Identify technological solutions to improve processes and portfolio management functions
  6. Analyze various Management Information Systems (MIS) to monitor portfolio performance and risk

Partnership Development:

Product Understanding:

  1. Understand new channel partner products, target segments, and application journey
  2. Request required data from partners and create policies based on available information and prevailing models
  3. Facilitate data room exercises for new customer segments
  4. Formulate policies considering expected loss rates
  5. Monitor policy implementation, UAT, and production test runs, resolving bottlenecks as needed

Relationship Building:

Manage relationships with partners, credit reporting agencies, and assist with all credit operations.
