Azure Kubernetes Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to design and implement cloud-native infrastructure on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). The successful candidate will lead the architecture, implementation, and optimization of our AKS-based workloads, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.

This role requires a strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, container orchestration, scaling, and governance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure services, including Azure Monitor, Managed Prometheus & Grafana, Azure Container Registry (ACR), and Azure Key Vault.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end architecture for AKS-based workloads in Azure.
  • Establish best practices for container orchestration, scaling, and governance in AKS.
  • Advise on cost optimization strategies for AKS and related Azure resources.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in DevOps, Cloud Architecture, or related roles.
  • 5+ years hands-on Azure experience, with deep AKS expertise.
  • Strong technical expertise in Kubernetes architecture & troubleshooting, Azure networking, IaC tools, container security and governance.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective AKS solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
  • Experience with service mesh architectures, multi-cluster management tools, workload migration to AKS.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for both technical and business audiences.
