Senior Software Architect

At the core of our business, we seek an experienced Backend Engineer to spearhead the development of scalable and efficient backend systems that seamlessly integrate with user-facing applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and NoSQL services that form the backbone of our device and platform ecosystem.
- Collaborate closely with Technical Leads, Product Managers, QA Engineers, and cross-functional software and hardware teams to drive innovation.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and software designs that prioritize scalability, performance, and security.
- Make informed architectural decisions that ensure maintainability, reliability, and data integrity.
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing across the team to foster a culture of collaboration and growth.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in software development, including 5+ years building scalable backend services using RESTful APIs and NoSQL databases.
- Strong expertise in backend development using Java or Kotlin.
- A proven track record of designing and developing software that interacts with or manages hardware devices.
- A deep understanding of API design, versioning, and documentation best practices.
- A solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented design, testing, debugging, and CI/CD methodologies.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
- Familiarity with containerized services and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions that meet business needs while ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
