Senior Oracle Developer Position

As a skilled Technical Developer, you will play a crucial role in translating business requirements into application code.

You will be responsible for documenting application specifications, performing code reviews, and aligning solutions to architectural specifications.

Collaboration with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other cross-functional resources is essential to provide technical support and guidance.

• Develop integrated solutions to enhance, consolidate, and coordinate independently designed applications enterprise-wide.
• Diagnose and resolve complex application issues.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Translate Business Requirements into application code.
2. Document the application specifications.
3. Perform code reviews and align the solutions to architectural specifications.
4. Work with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other cross-functional resources to provide technical support and guidance.
5. Collaborate with development team members to ensure proper implementation and deployment of the solutions.
6. Diagnose and resolve complex application issues.
7. Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and business processes.
8. Development and deployment of integrated solutions to enhance, consolidate, and coordinate independently designed applications enterprise-wide; assist in scheduling and coordinating project deliverables.
9. Determine how existing applications, legacy systems, third-party applications, databases, web/mobile interfaces, and hardware, possibly running on multiple platforms, integrate to meet new and emerging enterprise requirements.
10. Develop efficient methods to reuse existing components.
11. Strong experience in program design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging, and documentation under general supervision.
12. Applies thorough technical knowledge and understanding of business applications required to facilitate the development of supporting knowledge architecture and standards.
13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine business requirements.
14. Demonstrated ability to work with distributed teams across multiple time-zones.
15. Strong team skills to gain credibility with stakeholders and must possess the ability to work with other IT team members to ensure solid cross-functional decisions are made by the team.
16. Design, execute, assess, and troubleshoot software programs and applications.
17. Provides support in configuration, coding, developing, and documenting software specifications throughout the project life cycle.
18. Prepare Oracle Functional, Technical Design documents and Unit test documents for the related areas.
19. Performs other duties as assigned.

• At least 8 years of experience in IT as a software developer.
• Knowledge in Oracle Application Modules Revenue Management & Billing, Payables, Receivables, General Ledger and iExpenses & iProcurement.
• Work with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other cross-functional resources to provide technical support and guidance.
• Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving skills to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues in Oracle EBS and integrated systems.
• Excellent knowledge in PL/SQL and Unix Shell Script.
• Experience in developing and customizing Oracle XML Publisher Reports, Bursting, Forms.
• Ability to work on CEMLI (RICE).
• Experience Oracle Workflow and Business Events and Bursting.
• WebADI and Oracle Application Framework.
• Performance Tuning.
• SCM tools GitHub, ADO.
• Expertise in other programming languages e.g. Java, Python (preferred).
• Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) practices.
• Experience in various project methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma, Waterfall, RUP, Scrum and Agile).
