Job Title: Manual QA Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and meticulous Manual QA Specialist with extensive experience in e-commerce platforms to join our team. The ideal candidate has a profound understanding of end-to-end testing of workflows such as product listings, cart functionality, checkout, and payment integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Detailed review of system specifications and business requirements
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout development
  • Design and execution of manual test cases for web and mobile platforms
  • Performance of regression, functional, integration, and UI testing for e-commerce features
  • Identification and documentation of bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla
  • Validation of fixes and re-testing as needed
  • Closely working with developers and product managers to resolve issues
  • Contribution to continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of experience as a Manual QA Tester
  • Proven experience testing e-commerce platforms or applications
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), System Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and defect lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience with test case management tools like TestRail or Zephyr
  • Experience working with issue tracking tools like JIRA
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Familiarity with cross-browser and mobile testing

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools
  • Familiarity with databases and ability to write basic SQL queries
  • Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium is a plus but not required
  • Exposure to platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom-built systems
