Job Title: Data Centre Operations Specialist">

The role of a Data Centre Operations Specialist is to oversee the smooth operation of our data centre facilities. This includes monitoring and managing all assets, ensuring that they are functioning optimally.

This position requires strong technical skills, including knowledge of networking, server installation, and Active Directory. The ideal candidate will have experience in data centre operations and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:">
  • ">
  • Monitoring of all assets in the data centre, including network, servers, and storages.">
  • Complete asset management of the data centre.">
  • Co-ordination with both Network and Sysadmin teams during L2/L3 level trouble shooting.">
  • Manage basic data centre operations.">
  • Monitor of backup which is running through tools and inform the Backup team in case of failure of backup.">
  • Submission of daily reports and shift handover.">
  • Mandatory to log all tickets through MSMA tool.">
  • Will maintain documentation of all datacentre configurations, incident reports and maintenance activities, regular update on Rack usage and diagram.">

  • Qualification - B.E/B.Tech.">
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Data Centre Operations">
  • Good understanding in basic networking preferably Cisco.">
  • Knowledge of how to connect a server,iDrac, Dual power supply.">
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP and other protocols like DHCP/DNS.">
  • Good Understanding of AD, Reset of password, understanding of Group Policy, Providing File Server Permission.">
  • Knowledge in installing Hardware Devices in Racks including Servers, Switches.">
