Key Responsibilities:
  • Our team seeks a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer to design and develop service level objectives, service level agreements, and service level indicators for our services.
  • The ideal candidate will be involved in the entire development lifecycle, including system maintenance, monitoring, automation, backend operation, ensuring high availability, regular application release, troubleshooting, middleware performance tuning, and collaboration with functional and technical teams to deliver high-quality services.
  • This includes involvement in automating routine manual production and non-production operations using technologies like Ansible, Chef, and other DevOps tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for proposing and implementing automation to increase productivity and quality.
  • You should have a service ownership mindset and be proactive in responding to production issues.
  • We encourage you to propose new technologies, tools, and best practices to improve the entire process of development, testing, and production operations. Strong self-learning ability and motivation to work on new technologies are essential.
Requirements:
  • Mandatory
  • Over 8 years of experience in SRE, handling high-traffic production systems independently, troubleshooting middleware and infrastructure, automation, regular operation, and more.
  • Implementing Site Reliability Engineering principles regarding performance, reliability, monitoring, alerting, and production environment.
  • Experience in managing large-scale services.
  • Experience in designing and constructing public cloud infrastructure (e.g., GCP, Azure), preferably GCP.
  • Good knowledge of CI/CD/CT pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, and VCS such as Git, SVN.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux-based system operation and extensive skills in Linux commands.
  • Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux/Shell/Python scripting.
  • Experience with automation/configuration management, e.g., Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible.
  • Experience in developing and operating one or more of the following systems: Kubernetes, Nginx, ELK stack, Hadoop, etc.
  • Identifying process gaps and recommending best practices based on industry standards.
  • Providing technical expertise on complex automation and functional issues.
  • Flexible emergency support timing based on business requirements.
