Job Purpose:

The primary responsibility of the Test Manager is to oversee and direct the end-to-end testing strategy, planning, and execution for Oracle FLEXCUBE core banking implementation projects.

This role ensures timely delivery of high-quality solutions by effectively managing testing teams, defining test strategies, overseeing execution, and ensuring compliance with project timelines, banking standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, plan, and manage the comprehensive end-to-end testing strategy for FLEXCUBE implementation projects (FCUBS 11.x – 14.x).
  • Lead testing teams across different test phases including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, and Performance Testing.
  • Collaborate closely with business, development, and project stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
  • Review and approve test plans, test cases, and scenarios to validate business requirements and system design.
  • Ensure efficient defect management, root cause analysis, and closure within agreed timelines.
  • Provide regular test progress reporting, highlighting risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
  • Ensure adherence to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Quality Assurance (QA) processes, compliance standards, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee integration testing with third-party systems, APIs, microservices, and batch processes.
  • Support banking operations teams during mock runs, business simulation, and production cutover testing.
  • Guide and mentor the testing team, ensuring capability building and effective resource utilization.
  • Maintain strong coordination with Oracle, vendors, and internal technology teams for test-related activities.
