AI Research Leader

We are seeking a Senior Researcher to join our team and contribute to the advancement of artificial intelligence for end users and programmers.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for designing and carrying out innovative AI research with applications to code and data platforms, such as Visual Studio and Excel. They will work closely with engineers and product managers to deploy their research to customers, collaborate with academic partners, mentor interns and publish in top-tier academic venues.
The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate in a relevant field, at least 2 years of related research experience or equivalent, and a strong publication record in top-tier machine learning, programming language, software engineering or human-computer interaction venues.
They will also have excellent communication skills, the ability to develop an original research agenda and lead at least one publication in a top-tier venue. Experience publishing academic papers as a lead author or essential contributor, working with large language models and participating in top conferences is highly desirable.
