Senior DevOps Engineer Job Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-connected mobile applications.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: You will work closely with mobile engineers, backend teams, and security architects to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and cloud storage solutions is required.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Helm is necessary.
  • Security and Compliance: A deep understanding of OIDC authentication flows, AAD, and secure API access is required to implement robust security measures.
  • Performance Optimization: Experience in monitoring application performance, optimizing mobile and backend interactions, and implementing distributed tracing with OpenTelemetry or Azure Application Insights is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Helm.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy high-quality software.
  • Maintain and improve infrastructure as code using Terraform and Helm.
  • Implement robust security measures to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a focus on cloud-connected mobile applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, including AKS, Azure Functions, and cloud storage solutions.
  • Proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Helm.
  • Experience with OIDC authentication flows, AAD, and secure API access.
  • Familiarity with performance optimization tools like OpenTelemetry or Azure Application Insights.
