Cloud Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design, implement and manage scalable, secure and high-performing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.

This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translating them into well-architected cloud infrastructure designs. The successful candidate will have expertise in Azure PaaS services, AKS, Azure Container App, Service Bus/ Event Hub, Hub-n-Spoke, VPN (site to site), security practices, and identity management.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable, secure and high-performing Azure solutions, considering aspects such as virtual networks, storage, compute resources and data management.
  • Define the architecture and configuration of Azure resources, including PaaS services, databases, networking components and security measures.
  • Optimize resource utilization, cost efficiency and performance of Azure solutions.
  • Design and configure virtual networks, subnets, security groups, load balancers and VPN connections to ensure secure and efficient communication between Azure resources and on-premises environments.
  • Implement security best practices, identity and access management and encryption mechanisms to protect Azure resources and data.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Overall 12+ years of experience and a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Azure Infra architect.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Azure Infra Architect certification (AZ 103/ AZ 300/ AZ 301/ AZ 304).
  • Expertise in Azure PaaS services, AKS, Azure Container App, Service Bus/ Event Hub, Hub-n-Spoke, VPN (site to site), security practices and identity management.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, scripting languages (e.g., Terraform/ ARM templates) and automation practices.
