Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and upgrade CI/CD implementations and automation
  • Help remove technical blockers and provide technical guidance to team members on DevOps implementations
  • Provide guidance to Architects and/or Product Development Teams
  • Work with the Azure Landing Zone architects to design new features
  • Participate in all SCRUM ceremonies and implement new requirements from the backlog
  • Consolidate and continuously update documentation/wiki and how-to guides

Qualifications

  • The candidate is expected to have the following technical skills and experience:
  • 5+ years experience engineering or operating IT infrastructure solutions in Microsoft Azure
  • Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD strategies in Azure DevOps
  • Hands-on experience in implementing and managing Microsoft Azure infrastructure and governance (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
  • Strong experience in provisioning, configuring, and deploying Azure infrastructure, Azure policies, creating CI/CD pipelines, release management, and IaC with Terraform
  • Expert-level knowledge of Azure Cloud including the following:
  • Cloud networking knowledge covering macro and micro-segmentation, Virtual Networks/VPCs, sub-netting, route tables, VPN, ExpressRoute/Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, IPsec, Load Balancing
  • Network services knowledge: DHCP, DNS, AWS Route53/Azure Private DNS Zones, NTP, Azure Traffic Manager
  • Strong, working knowledge of Configuration and Infrastructure as Code concepts
  • Authentication, Directory Services, LDAP, and IAM: Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Certificate Services, PKI, Single Sign-On, AWS IAM
  • Cloud storage knowledge covering Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Blobs, Azure Files
  • Cloud serverless infrastructure with Azure LogicApps, Azure Functions, and Azure WebApps
  • Cloud messaging knowledge covering Azure Notification Hub, Azure EventGrid, Azure ServiceBus, Azure EventHub, IoT Hub
  • Knowledge of tools: Github Actions, JIRA, Confluence, Sharepoint
  • Expert knowledge of Docker and Container services; with specific experience with Docker Compose, and Dockerfile to build and manage container images
  • Familiar with non-functional requirements Logs, Backup, DRP, Resilient Design
  • Have a service-oriented attitude (flexible, personable, and approachable)
  • Knowledge of agile development practices (SCRUM, SAFe)
  • Nice to have: Certified Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104, AZ-700, AZ-305)
